We're sorting out a Creative Commons licence, but essentially all text on the site, and the site design itself is copyright.

Like the majority of similar blogs worldwide, we use pictures from sites to illustrate our entries and we think that this provide the sites we are recommending good PR and hopefully some visitors. The pictures themselves remain the property and copyright of the picture holders and we make no claims to them. We shrink all the pictures to a smaller size which we consider fair use. Of course, we're happy to take a picture down if you do not want it on the site so please contact us and we'll be happy to remove it.

housebible is funded through the use of ads and affiliate partners, in the form of graphic ads, text ads or textual links in copy. When you click on these partners we may receive a payment for that click, and if you subsequently purchase from them online, we may receive a percentage of the purchase price of the sale. So we'd love you to click and buy from the stores featured on our site! However, we want to reassure you that we don't just recommend items for which we may receive income from - far from it. This would destroy any editorial neutrality, so we only concentrate on finding the most fabulous and practical items as our goal. Only once the item is picked do we look to see if an affiliate partner stocks it and links you to that partner.
