'Noel, Noel -the angel did sing'

noel and plantstuff.jpg

Lots of beautiful Christmas door wreaths and decorations like this festive Noel . The four decorative letters can be hung outdoors on a length of jute for £16.50. Or you could take a browse at plantstuff for their inspired gardening gifts or clearance items. I find a bargain always gurantees me a bit of Christmas cheer.

Chim chimenea...

chimenea.jpg

There is definitely something romantic about being in the garden at winter time; all wrapped up in your winter woolies and feeling the warm glow from a chimenea on your face (preferably whilst drinking some mulled wine too). I love the rustic design of this La Hacienda Cast Iron Chimenea from www.patiogear.co.uk , priced at £69.99. But if this particular design isn't your cup of tea, they have a great range, all reasonably priced and with free delivery.

Christmas Raspberries

raspberry.jpg

Can't think what to get that relation who seems to have everything? Then get them some plants or shrubs from Dobies in Chester. They've been spreading their seeds since 1880 and now have a very reliable and trusted reputation throughout the UK. This juicy Raspberry Polka costs £11.95 for 5 plants and could have you in berry heaven from July to October.

Green Fingers?

pink_garden_trug.jpg

If like me you’d rather have pink fingers than green ones then this charming gardening set from SandEdge.com is for you. The essentials are included, but the little extra inclusions are what make this a gardening set with style. You get two cute pairs of gloves (one suede, one cotton) some pink daisy seeds, some pink plant pot labels and a tube of hand crème all for £33.

It’s almost as if it was plucked straight off the set of Stepford Wives – I love it!

Flutterby

paperchase camping table.jpg

Butterfly motifs make such pleasing decorations, and they seem to be everywhere at the moment, but I especially love the designs by Paperchase. Aside from wrapping paper, cards, pens and bags all delightfully emblazoned with the happy little creatures, I found this cute ’Floral Butterflies’ camping table for £25 on their website. The table top is 42 x 42cm, and the height is 31cm, practical yet pretty, which equals perfect in Kerry’s world.

Sparkling Christmas Trees

christmas tree.jpg

I know it's only November but I'm already excited at the prospect of putting up our Christmas tree. This year instead of dashing down to B & Q, I might try and order one online from Crocus , this way I won't have to squash it in the car or lug it down the street. Just take a look at all their Christmas loveliness. From £29.99 you can choose a needle-fast cut Christmas trees or a traditional pot-grown Abies nordmannianas, that can be kept from year to year. Plus you get advice on how to keep them smelling and twinkling till you recycle them via your local council. I'm just working out what's the first date I can put mine up without appearing too keen.

Glow Sticks

ETree.jpg
One of my favourite things is being able to walk in to an exhibition and touch things! And at 100%east I fell in love with these ETrees by Nimbel Critter. Simple, yet beautiful, these creations use 'electroluminescent technology' and function as interactive glowing scultpures, which you can bend and twist to your hearts content.

Available for both the home and garden in a range of colours, for pricing information and delivery times contact info@nimblecritters.co.uk. Check out the 'news' section of their website for some enchanting videos of the ETree in action.
