Mirror Mirror on the wall...

laua ashley mirror.jpg

Lots of loveliness to be had at Laua Ashley right now. In 10-14 days times you could be the owner of this Marissa etched mirror for £60. It measures 46cm by D1.5cm and would look great in quite frankly any room. Have a mooch around the site and pick yourself some 2 for 3 champagne flutes or save up to 25% off their furniture. They've extended their Bank Holiday offer until June 4th, handy for those of us who take a long time to make up our mind.

Cake Tins

joules cake tins.jpg

Well Joules really is a site for all you horse-loving folk out there - just look at the range of polo shirts. In the midst of this they have some great outdoor chairs, picnic ware and these 3 powder blue cake tins for £19. Or check out their clearance section and get a pinker version of these 3 for £10, a bargain.

I keep on meaning to buy one of these nifty acrylic spice mills for chopping, grinding and blending small quantities. Pefect for herbs, baby food and coffee and supplied with 3 glass jars to store your ground food. Costs £21.95 from John Lewis who currently have an offer of free delivery to your home. You may wish to throw in a sofa or fridge to make their trip worthwhile.

Lovely Boilers

kettle red one.jpg

I've seen a fair few kettles in my time, but this one really is something else. This Red loop kettle has a rounded bottom for rapid boiling and a Hohner 2-note harmonica whistle to ensure you never boil dry. As our kettle is on it's last legs I might buy this £45 one from Debenhams or maybe I'll buy their green one with a concealed cord or maybe the blue one - never have kettles looked so good.

Animals to tea

Now these fun-loving Bimbi placemats could seriously brighten up any childs dinner-time. Any enticement would currenly help with Erin, so spending £14.40 for 6 could be a great investment - and yes they're plastic too. I've never dropped into Formahouse before and was pretty wowed by their extensive list of kitchen utensils - made me wonder how I've got by on so few.

Wow wallpaper

linda barket wall paper.jpg

Can't say I'm a big fan of Linda Barker, but that could be due to an excess of DFS adverts. But I do like her range of floral wallpapers starting with this chrysanthemum inspired £20 per roll creation. But I like the sites she's with even more. Graham Brown has a well selected range of established and new designers, great prices, style and just take a look at their set of Wow wallpapers......and go 'Wow'.
