Well designed feature lighting can really make a room for me, and this wonderfully kitsch piece, the Gipsy Chandelier from Urban Outfitters, looks good enough to eat. It costs £125 (including delivery), and also comes in black as the Gypsy Chandelier, which is indeed sleek and dramatic; but it's the candy coatedness of this particular version that really appeals to me - it's so self consciously nauseating on the eye, that it manages to remain both dignified and beautiful, whilst being great fun. Kitsch at it's best.
